We only realized how good we had it with Game of Thrones when we experienced our first toxic relationship. The lows were so much lower, and the highs didn’t even compare to the high points of GOT. So, in a way, GOT ruined us… But we liked it that way.
After that, we felt an emptiness inside that we needed to fill as best as possible with other things. What we wanted — what we really desired — was to be emotionally ruined. So yes, House of the Dragon is our new, shiny, toxic lover, and we couldn’t be happier… for now.
