A retouch like a cover-up
The composition of the tattoo on the left is also the very first one that this person got. Please don’t judge, as no offense is intended, but we were not surprised to see it fading. It looks like it wasn’t done with great detail or precision, to begin with.
The individual stated that they were going for “muted watercolors” with their initial tattoo idea, but after only one year, it had faded significantly. Even though the space and dimensions are exactly the same, you can tell from looking at the photo that the tattoo on the right is much more beautiful overall.
