Covered it up pretty well
It’s difficult to make out whether the photo is blurry or if the tattoo is just unclear. Most likely, it’s the tattoo since the rest of the picture seems pretty clear. So yes, it can be challenging trying to read what’s written on someone’s hand in this scenario. It looks like they have already gone through a couple of rounds of laser removal.
In conclusion, we think getting a cover-up tattoo was a great idea. The tattoo artist did an amazing job turning something dull into something beautiful. Even her hand looks more lively than it did before (we’re attributing that to the lighting).
