Post-spring tattoo
The flower tattoo on the left is much more attractive than the one on the right, which may be why the individual decided to get a cover-up. The old tattoo was likely too dull and bland for her liking, so she upgraded to something with more color.
The tattoo on the left is from before she got the cover-up, and the tattoo on the right is after. We think this change is best described with a metaphor: The old tattoo was like winter—cold and dead—whereas the new one is like springtime—full of life and color!
