So many of us want tattoos at some point in our lives. But then we remember that it will be on our skin forever, and some of us decide against it. What if you stopped feeling the connection to your tattoo years after getting it? When that happens, regrets often follow because there’s not much you can do about it. Luckily, there is a way to avoid all the regret. As in all other areas of life, sometimes mistakes happen. If your tattoo doesn’t turn out how you wanted it, don’t despair! You can always get a new design to cover up the old one or use it as an opportunity to enhance your look. We found some amazing examples of tattoos that were turned into something even better from the subreddit r/FixedTattoos. Let’s take a look!

More meaningful now
This cover-up is extremely well done– we can’t overemphasize that. What’s so amazing is that the cover-up has much more meaning beyond its surface level. The eyes, the galaxy, it appears to be infinite! We’re speechless.

No disrespect to the artists, but the before tattoo looks more like a drawing that could be done by a child. And it might be – we’ve all seen parents who get their kid’s drawings inked on their bodies.
