John Cena
To be honest, I’m willing to forgive John Cena for this isolated incident. In case you’re not up-to-date, while he was promoting Fast and Furious 9 (or as it’s known in the US, F9), he called Taiwan a country. As you might expect, if you have any knowledge of China-Taiwan relations, China didn’t take kindly to that. He ended up apologizing formally, but that just made this person even madder.

However, I’m inclined to let it slide. For one thing, he was promoting a film, and the studio may have compelled him to make the apology. For another thing, Taiwan’s exact status is anything but straightforward. It is a nation, yet many other countries do not officially acknowledge it as such. I’m not suggesting that we should back down when China begins pushing around its weight because of this situation, but I am saying it’s an intractable problem.
