Doors are not supposed to fall over on their own. Yes, everything eventually comes apart due to gravity. However, it is a gradual process. A closet door fell on a sleeper in the middle of the night after suddenly swinging open. How and why did this happen?
It’s difficult to reverse engineer this scenario, but we can give it a shot. The greater the weight of the door placed on the hinge, the more force it exerted. The metal gave out in time. The door slammed into the bed with incredible velocity. It must have been terrifying!
