Leftover Avocado
Avocado is a beautiful food that everyone should consume regularly. Tenderizing an avocado may be difficult; however, it isn’t advised due to health concerns. On the other hand, avocado halves tend to go rancid and mushy rather quickly.
The most common reason for avocado skins to darken is ascorbic acid. Fortunately, citric acid in lemons can protect them from oxidation. Sprinkle a few drops of it on top of your avocado before placing it in the refrigerator to keep it from spoiling overnight.
