Make Berries Last Longer With Vinegar

To make your strawberries last days longer, put them in vinegar. It might sound strange to Dip the sweet fruit in an acidic liquid, but it works great. Strawberries, along with other types of berries, usually go bad within a few days if not taken care of properly, and you often end up tossing half a box of them away unused.

Store your berries in a mixture of 10 parts water and one part vinegar for almost two weeks so they’ll stay fresh longer. The solution is too weak to taste like vinegar, but it will still be lovely.
