Being in touch with nature may be very relaxing and pleasurable sometimes, but it can also be quite the opposite. Just as some animals are cute – such as kittens, kind squirrels, beautiful butterflies, and lovely birds – other creatures can appear frightening. We’re not talking about a frightening lion or a vicious shark because after seeing these creatures, they’ll seem like adorable little animals. We all know that beauty is personal and that we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but once you view these creatures or what they do, you’ll think twice – maybe three to four times – before approaching them.

Let’s begin with this frightening photo, which looks like it came out of a 1990s horror film. The picture is eerily perplexing. We can’t tell how many legs there are based on the image. It might be just a dead frog, but what is that thing coming out of its mouth?
The legs of a spider come out of this frog’s mouth. This inexplicable image stimulates both surprise and dread. Did the frog die while eating, or was this spider hiding in the frog’s hard shell? We have a lot of questions, but perhaps it’s best not to discover them.
