No Relationships Before Marriage
Can you imagine having no contact with someone before getting married to them? India places a premium on arranged marriages, resulting in young people today relying on their families and shrinking to suggest a “suitable” partner.
While it is acceptable to have a lover, relationships before marriage are frowned upon. The words “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” exist in a few large cities, including Delhi and Mumbai. Even unmarried couples try their hardest to keep their relationship under wraps to avoid attracting attention.
