Big Appetites and Bigger Palates
The philosophy of the Indian people is “the larger the meal, the better the meal.” They have big appetites and are pleased with them. A typical dinner, often known as a Thali, is quite large. The server delivers a platter containing many metal plates to your table.
You combine rice and/or bread with sauces, curries, and chutneys to eat them. After the main course, you enjoy sweets and a cup of tea. Indians adore tea in the same manner as the English do. Lunch is also very inexpensive, costing on average a dollar!
