He didn’t care about a big party or any of that. All he wanted was to have a few special friends to share the joy with at his wedding. He ran into one of them on the golf course, having requested his wife and stepdaughter to invite him.
When his buddy spoke with him, he inquired if he was going, but he had some bad news for him. He told the stepdad that he hadn’t been invited to the wedding and that all he’d gotten was a letter in the mail informing him of the ceremony.
