Daryl Davis persuades members of white nationalist groups to change their minds
Daryl Davis is an accomplished pianist who has played with some of the greats, like Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and BB King. Music isn’t his only passion, though – he also dedicates his time to fighting racism through education.
Instead of using force or anger to try and get white nationalist group members to see the error in their ways, Davis instead befriends them. Showing kindness and love, he can gently reveal how misguided they are for discriminating against innocent people.
