The Prime Minister of Yugoslavia didn’t fear Stalin
While many cowered in fear of him, Yugoslavia’s Prime Minister, Josip Broz Tito, refused to be intimidated by Josef Stalin. Although Stalin was known for his cruel actions, such as commanding mass murder without remorse, Tito would not back down.

In 1949, the leader of the USSR sent multiple men to kill Yugoslav Prime Minister Josip Broz Tito, but they all failed. After numerous unsuccessful attempts on his life, Tito finally had enough and told Stalin that he would hire someone to murder him unless he stopped bothering him.
