Abraham Lincoln is honored in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame
Abraham Lincoln was a former and history-shaping president of the United States, but that wasn’t his only achievement. Before being such an important historical figure, he was a famous wrestler with only one recorded defeat in a dozen years.
The National Wrestling Hall of Fame awarded Lincoln in 1992 because of his skills in wrestling. It’s fascinating to think about whether the people who saw him wrestle back then would have predicted he would become U.S. president one day.
