Bulls React Aggressively to the Color Red

Many individuals think that bulls can’t stand the color red, leading them to believe it would be dangerous to wear a scarlet shirt or dress around a stampede of cows. However, this “fact” isn’t accurate. Let’s explore why not together.

Cattle are blind to the color red and can only see blue, violet, yellow, and green colors. So, the matadors waving a red flag or piece of clothing does not actually enrage the bull–it is instead reacting to motion. An enraged bull will charge at anything that moves regardless of what color the object (or person’s clothes) is.
