Split Ends Are Best Cured by Using Shampoos and Conditioners
There are plenty of hair products on the market that claim to fix split ends, but the best way to prevent them is to be proactive about it. Regular trims are also key in preventing split ends.
Throwing away all of the promises that shampoo and conditioner labels make to us, once we have split ends, the best fix is to break out a sharp pair of scissors and snip off those frayed edges. (Or go see a professional about it.) Even though it may sound like the opposite of what should help, this method actually strengthens hair follicles and encourages growth.
