Dogs Don’t See the World in B&W and 40 Other Popular “Facts” That Are Actually Myths Explained

October 14, 2019 by Michael Franklin

Einstein Was an Underachiever at School

There is no denying that Albert Einstein was one of the most intelligent people to have ever lived. Some people try to find ways to criticize him, but they always come up short. One myth that is often repeated is that Einstein was bad at math – which simply isn’t true.

Although commonly believed, Einstein was actually excellent at math, consistently ranking high in his class. It has been stated that he knew how to utilize differential and integral calculus before he turned 15 years old. So, where did this myth come from? No one is positive, but we do know that if we want to show that even geniuses like Einstein have flaws- just like the rest of us “normal” people- then using his math skills as evidence would be nonsensical. His infidelity toward his wife should suffice as a good example.
