The King Cobra is the Most Venomous Creature in the World
The king cobra is a fearsome creature, and rightfully so. One bite from this deadly serpent can deliver enough neurotoxin to kill twenty people or even a fully-grown elephant. However, despite these mind-boggling statistics, the king cobra is not actually the most venomous creature on earth. That title belongs to the box jellyfish.
The box jellyfish is a vicious aquatic creature that, instead of drifting like other jellyfish, will go after its food. The average box jellyfish has fifteen tentacles on each corner of its body which can grow up to ten feet in length! And if that weren’t enough, nearly every tentacle has half a million venom injectors. To put it lightly, one box jellyfish carries around 30 MILLION stingers with potent toxins. Death will come within minutes if you are fully stung by this dangerous animal. Past victims have gone into shock, and their heart failed soon after being stung.
