George Lucas owns his own fire department
We’ve heard of celebrities having a wide range of unusual possessions, but this one takes the cake. George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, has his own fire department. It includes about 12 full-time firefighters, as well as several volunteer fighters and firetrucks.
Lucas’ home, Skywalker Ranch, is also home to the fire station, which made headlines when it came to help with the wildfires in southern California throughout the summer of 2019. The Skywalker Fire Department has been operational for around 30 years.
