Rejection Hurts
If you’ve ever had a rigid teacher, you know how much time and effort it takes to carefully fill out your name, the date, the instructor’s name, and the class at the top of every assignment. This individual took a somewhat different strategy. They told a brief yet tragic tale using just two words at the top of the paper and a few speech bubbles.
“Date?” says the male stick figure, holding a bouquet. “No,” says the female figure, and the narrative comes to an end. It’s as old as time, but rejection is never easy, even when it’s only about doodles drawn by a bored yet creative youngster.
