Is That a Face?
I believe that we’ve all stared at inanimate objects until they started to seem something completely different. It’s pretty typical for people to “see” what appears to be human facial features on things with no resemblance to a person’s face. For example, the hand dryer shown below is an example of this.
Isn’t it odd and funny that adding two words (“My eye!”) and two little brows transforms a practical hand dryer into a face with a hurt eye? I suppose this is just one of the many fascinating aspects of the human intellect.
