Turtle King
We’ve all seen “Deer Crossing” and “Cow Crossing” signs, but what about “Turtle Crossing”? Isn’t it? And on top of its distinctiveness, this sign was also created by a graffiti artist who wanted to make this unexpected sign stand out even more.
Adding a tiny crown to the turtle’s head and altering “X-ing” to the word “King” gives it the appearance that anyone traveling along this road will be in the company of turtle royalty. How wonderful would it be to see a turtle lounging in the sun with a crown on its head?
