In 2012, journalist and descendant of the Vanderbilt family Anderson Cooper said he was gay. He became the most well-known openly gay television journalist in America as a result of his announcement. It’s unclear when Anderson Cooper and French nightclub owner Benjamin Maani started dating, but they called it quits in 2018.
In 2014, Maisani stated that he never wanted to be a celebrity and that he didn’t want his relationship with Kim to become public. Since Cooper gave birth to a son in 2020, Maisani has taken on a co-parenting role.
