Alive dead
The contrast between the crocheted birdie’s decor and its reality reminds us of two things: 1. When you’re with your significant other versus when they leave – you know, the representation of love and heartbreak. “I feel you, little brothers, I feel you,” probably went through the head of whoever made these tiny birds.
2. The introverts’ community: the introverted individuals who go dead inside after a few minutes of socializing, like as if they had no life within them at all. The poor birds appear to be having an existential crisis. We understand how you feel; we’re with you, birdies.
