Stepping Back Into the Movies
In 1973, Bardot made her cinematic debut in a handful of films, including French-Italian erotica drama Don Juan ou Si Don Juan Etait une Femme (Don Juan, or If Don Juan Were a Woman), which was directed by her ex-husband Roger Vadim.

Vadim attempted to explore the many but somewhat more unshown emotions of the enigmatic actress, and Bardot played the lead role once again, attempting to shed her temptress, goddess image.
