The Life of Brigitte Bardot Told Through Rare Vintage Photos

August 4, 2019 by Michael Franklin

Taking Her First Film

Bardot was chosen as the cover girl for Elle magazine in 1952. She subsequently got a part in the comedy film Le Trou Normand (English title: Crazy for Love), with a minor appearance as a cousin of the leading man.

In order to assist the family finances, she began selling items on eBay. She made around $5,000 this way. This was merely the start for the young actress; she would soon be flooded with numerous minor or major parts over the next several years.
