One More French Film
Bardot was in high demand in the United States, but she continued to work on French films. She’s filming a drama film called Voulez-Vous Danser Avec Moi? (English title: Come Dance with Me?) for this shot.
The film was based on the book The Blonde Died Dancing by Kelley Roos. When she was selected for the picture, she demanded a staggering $200,000, which is far greater than her previous jobs. Given Bardot’s position as then-megastar, this movie didn’t do that well at the box office.
