Perched on Bamboo Sticks
Bees love the hollow, cylindrical, and cool interiors of bamboo sticks and often build their hives inside them. Backyard bee houses and bee hotels have become so popular that many garden distributors now sell offhand nesting habitats made from bamboo sticks.
Surprisingly, bamboo sticks are not necessary nesting materials like drilled blocks of wood, cardboard, paper, and plastic tubes. If left unmanaged, bee hives can actually damage natural wooden resources.
