Barbeecue
Barbecues don’t just serve as grilling stations, but also bee shelters. Bee homes come in many shapes and sizes, and the barbecue is one of them. The heat protects bees from the cold weather and predators, making it the perfect safe haven for them.
Honey bees often build their homes in caves, rock cavities, and other places both above and below ground. This can include commercial and residential areas, as well as house walls, the floor cavity of multi-story buildings, letter boxes, compost bins, and more.
