In a Microwave
A microwave that has been abandoned or deserted is an ideal location for bees. It’s metallic, cold, and spacious– perfect for honeycombs to attach themselves too. Worker honeybees create hives to store honey and as a way to feed themselves during winter when they can’t go outside to look for food.
The six-sided shape of honey bee hives is ideal for honey production; these shapes use less wax and can store more honey. Some hives develop broods that become discolored from cocoon tracks and travel stains over time.
