They Burrow in Plant Pots

If you water your plants on your porch at night, you may be visited by honey bees in the morning. These bees are collecting water to use in their hive during the summer months. They need a large amount of water to keep their hive cool, and plant pots are the perfect size for collecting it.

Consider planting bee-friendly plants like Lesser Calamint if your potted plants are prone to beehives; these busy bees might end up using the plant pots as a temporary home. The nectar production shortage made this impossible over winter, but it is possible now.
