Bird boxes, also called birdhouses, are popular gifts for nature lovers and are frequently given as presents. They’re often fixed to structures like houses, fences, or garden sheds to attract birds. However, your bird box can serve another purpose by attracting bumble bees instead.
Empty boxes are perfect places for bees to build their home, so it’s not surprising to see a family of them in your bird box- especially if the boxes were abandoned. Even though you may feel the urge to get rid of them quickly, you should wait for a professional exterminator.
