Chalk Body Covering – Africa
Make-up can be seen as a form of body painting. In most parts of the world, people only wear makeup on their faces. However, this is not the case for the Caro tribe in Ethiopia, who use body painting as part of their culture.
The people of this tribe use white chalk to paint spider motifs all over the body. This is a mark of beauty among both men and women.
