Golden arches

It wasn’t until the ’60s that McDonald’s was established, and it was franchised in the ’50s. The golden arches suddenly appeared all over when the company was franchised in the mid-century. With this fast food restaurant, things have changed considerably since then, but back then, there were only burgers, and these are what the chains looked like.

The franchise expanded its selection and new outlets multiplied around the world as time went on. Until the 1960s, Ronald McDonald, the famous character and mascot of McDonald’s, wasn’t even a thing.
