Palm Springs
Palm Springs, Florida, in the ’50s, was thriving with visitors from the wealthy and famous. The tropical metropolis was a popular holiday location for a variety of celebrities, including Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and Frank Sinatra.

This photo was taken in 1955, during the peak of the “50s tourists boom.” These two lovely ladies dressed as cowgirls are photographed on top of a vehicle during Palm Springs’ annual procession.
