The Charitable Ones
If you did something for other people – say, donated a large sum of money for an important cause, or started a charity – does it really count if no one else knows about it? We’re asking for this guy. It often feels like celebrities (not exclusively, but mostly) do charity work only for recognition and appreciation.
The person is complaining about the hardships of setting up their own charity organization and the work that entails. What were you expecting? Brag aside, how did you even come up with a plan to open up a charity? That requires putting in actual time and work, and you cannot get away with just tweeting about it in an offhand brag.
