Alright, let’s put the cards on the table: we’ve all taken our shoes off during a long flight, at least for a short while, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Do you really expect people to leave their shoes on, to confine their feet, for so many hours without a break? It’s only natural to want to air your feet for a bit.
However, taking off your shoes is one thing, and placing your bare feet on the armrest of the seat in front of you is another thing altogether. That’s not okay. There’s a fine line when it comes to plane etiquette, and placing your bare feet in someone else’s space is not okay.
