Rising unemployment rate
The alarming unemployment rate in South Korea is not caused by tattoos, but instead, the higher number of overqualified graduates. This might sound odd, but when the average GPA increases every year, it becomes harder and harder for students to distinguish themselves from their peers.
Before each huge exam, South Korean students will stick their noses in their textbooks for weeks on end. Needless to say, the stress levels that the average South Korean student experiences are off the charts. The good news is that it’s not very difficult for South Korean graduates to find jobs overseas. If they speak English well, they’re pretty much guaranteed a spot in a company in many countries across Asia and even in Europe.
