No such thing as winter clothing
Svetlana advised her followers who want to visit South Korea to never focus too heavily on shopping for winter-appropriate clothing if they want to fit in. Women in South Korea still sport short pants and open shoes when it’s below freezing. Children won’t even wear hats to protect their ears from the extreme cold.
The Russian blogger didn’t need to get used to South Korean winters, but those that come from warmer climates might need time to adjust. She also pointed out how rare it was for people to catch the flu, even in winter! Their bodies have become accustomed to below-zero temperatures in the city.
