Manicures are completely different
One might think that manicures are done the same around the world, but that’s not the case. Here at home, manicures tend to make our nails look shinier, healthier, and lovelier in every way. In South Korea, however, they do manicures a lot differently.
Most manicures are just a double-coated layer of nail polish, and that’s it. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to find a salon that actually has a manicure specialist on staff. Nail health and beauty just aren’t on their list of priorities. We could totally get behind that culture, seeing as how some people here go way over-the-top with their manicures.
