The “Bullet Train” is a High-Speed
It was originally designed to transport people between Osaka, the Japanese capital, and Tokyo, the site of the 1964 Summer Olympics. However, the Bullet Train proved to be more than that. The fact that it was constructed in the 1960s and is now regarded as one of Japan’s most famous technological accomplishments is incredible.
As a result of the train’s high speed of over 200 miles per hour, travelling by rail between Japan’s two most populated cities no longer requires the use of the whole working day by the vast majority of the country’s population. The speed with which things can be turned around is amazing.
