Quite noteworthy is the following Japanese invention, which we’ll go into more depth about later on. All of the buildings and infrastructure in Japan are tightly packed together, so there isn’t usually a lot of free areas to move around.
Therefore, after using the toilet, all that is required of you is to wash your hands and leave the cubicle. To overcome the issue of limited space, the Japanese devised the concept of toilets that have a sink that is attached to the top of the toilet chamber, but it saves a lot of water certainly.
