Initiate self-destruct
What is this, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7? Just kidding, your iPhone won’t spontaneously combust, but you can program it to delete everything if someone attempts and fails to crack into your phone. After the tenth failed passcode input failure, your phone can automatically wipe its own memory clean.
Even though it sounds extreme, this feature is incredibly important for those whose phones store sensitive data. To set it up, open Settings, scroll down until you reach Touch ID & Passcode, input your passcode, then activate Erase Data Setting. Know what you’re getting into before you decide to do this.
