Scanning documents
One of the most impressive hidden features of an iPhone is scanning documents. Well, it’s not exactly “hidden” as it is “infrequently used,” but you get the point. If you need to scan a document and send it to a client via email, don’t worry about finding a printer. Your good old iPhone will do the trick.
Head over to the Notes app and create a new file. Next, tap the + button and select Scan Document. Point your phone’s camera at the document, snap a picture, then crop out any parts you don’t want to include, such as the surface on which the document is lying on.
