Accessing maps without an internet connection
Traveling is only fun if you don’t get lost. If this happens, your leisurely journey to another country instantly becomes a survival challenge. We can stay the course and find our way to popular landmarks by turning on the GPS, but if your phone’s internet isn’t stable, at least you can open your stored maps on Google Maps.
This isn’t exclusive to iPhones either. Before you venture into a foreign city or country, you should take the time to download certain parts of Google Maps. Open up the app, type in “ok maps” in the search box, and your phone will automatically download the map for later use without a connection.
