A Plane Carrying Brazil Chapecoense Soccer Team Crashes In Colombia

A plane carrying Brazil Chapecoense soccer team crashes on their way to Colombia for the Copa Sudamericana final. Total number of people onboard the plane are 81. Jose Maria Cordova International Airport says police at the scene reported 6 survivors but one of those rescued had died.

According to report the plane crashed after suspected fuel emergency while holding for approach to Jose Maria Cordova International Airport, Medellín, Colombia. The flight crashed in a mountainous region.

One of the survivors was confirmed as Chapecoense defender Alan Ruschel and at least two other footballers goalkeepers Jackson Follman and Marcos Danilo as well as physiotherapist Rafael Gobbato.
