Keshi urged to take a refresher course abroad

January 19, 2015 by Kelly Davies Leave a Comment

Dr. Raufu Ladipo, the president general of the Nigerian Football Supporters Club, has advised the former handler of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi to take a step forward by enrolling in a refresher course with a top European club to have his skills polished up.

Ladipo said that the out of contract coach would become a better coach with more experience after spending about three months in a top European club. The supporters club boss added that no matter how good the former handler is now, a trip abroad would enhance his knowledge of the game.

He also urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to take a definite decision on the employment of Keshi, adding that the federation should place the terms of the contract on the table before the coach.

“Let those terms, as the NFF would want, be made open to Keshi for his consideration after which the two parties put pen to paper. The terms of contract should create conditions that will bring about a good Super Eagles.

“But like I said, Stephen Keshi needs to get attached to one or two other teams in Europe for about two to three months because such attachment will help him.
