Quit now Blatter!- Raulball

November 24, 2014 by Kelly Davies 4 Comments

FIFA President, Sepp Blatter, has once again been taking the hits from all angles. The latest attacks stem from corruption allegation leveled against the world football governing body, over the process of 2018 and 2022 world cup bidding.

An American lawyer, Micheal Garcia, was asked by FIFA to make findings on the process of the bidding. At the end of the investigation, FIFA declared that everything was fine. A claim which did not go down well with Garcia, who claimed that part of the findings were missing in the report filed afterward by FIFA ethics judge, Joachim Eckert.

FIFA has thus refused to published the entire report, saying; it breaches its ethics and Swiss law. It is in the hem of this controversy that many have expressed concern that corruption could harm the beautiful game.

Reinhard Raulball, the president of German Football League, did not hide his reservation on the matter. He said: ” I rang Blatter and asked him to quit.” The challenge of managing the Football presidential office free of corruption is magnificent.

Therefore, Raulball has recommended German FA president, Wolfgang Niersbach, to take the position of FIFA President in case Sepp Blatter, heeds his advice and calls it a quit.

Raulball believes Blatter has something to hide since he’s hesitant to act upon Garcia’s report.

I think he has done enough, and if you critically look at his leadership you will see some partiality in some judgment. …he should give another person a chance
